This poor chick.
The Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease is no fun, but usually pretty mild.
Here's the initial fever/rash/barf day.
Oh teh painz
Didn't really affect her dancing TOO much.
But hold the phone. I'm dressing her today and see the skin coming off her hands and feet and a new dusting of rash on her legs and back. W.T.F. dude. Athena's skin is coming off too.
3 weeks to the day later we still have this?!?! I started emailing pictures to their doctor and I get him on the phone. After some research, it turns out that there's this fun, new strain of H, F, & M that is much more severe and the ladies fit it to a "T".
Suh-weet. Looks like it's going to be a 2 Ativan kind of day.

Oh no. What do you do to handle this? Antibiotics?
I'm so sorry.
Viral. No antibiotics. We ride it out. :/
Oh my goodness, this absolutely sucks :( Did the Doctor say how long this will go on? Does it hurt her? It looks like it would hurt.
Ugh, sorry.
Oh goodness! You poor things! I've heard that is no fun! Hope it goes away soon!
My boys just got over some weird strain of HFM. It presented on the tops of their hands and feet instead of the palms and bottoms of feed. And of course they had it on their mouths and the toddler had it on his bum. Fortunately, it cleared quickly and didn't seem to bother either on.
Hope the girls are on the mend!
UGHHHHHHHHH....
This is awful. How is Fifi today?
