We all have heard that Heath Ledger was found dead in his New York apartment Tuesday, where police also found several bottles of prescription drugs, including Ambien. This is really bothering me because of the way I feel about that drug, and I think also because he has always reminded me of my husband for some reason. Authorities suspect a possible overdose, but toxicology tests have not yet determined the exact cause of death. I know it hasn't been confirmed yet as to which drug actually killed Heath Ledger, but the fact that he was taking the sleep aid Ambien has me all but convinced that has something to do with it. I've had first hand experience as to what this drug can do to you and I hope that anyone that ever takes it reads this and exhausts all other options first. I honestly don't know why this drug is still on the market... maybe because they choose not to believe that this is why people are accidently killing themselves.

So SAD. Our age. 2 year old child. Still alot of life to live. It makes you think about what doctors are really doing?? Can't sleep? Here is a pill. Have some pain? Here is a pill. What happened to finding the cause of the system and fixing that first???
