This reminds me of that movie "She's all That" with Freddie P Jr and Rachel Leigh Cook. The dad is sitting watching Jeopardy and just saying the most ridiculous things.
My favorite? "What President is at the left of Mount Rushmore?" "Who is President Rushmore."

I LOVE it! I usually can't stand "period" books. They annoy me for some reason. It's an odd thing I have, but I LOVE IT!
