Today is ALL About the L.O.V.E.

Being that it's Valentine's Day, it got me thinking about my first date with my husband. I just read an article yesterday that stated some of the worst daters wind up being the best spouses. Well thank goodness. This works out quite well for me and my good friend/sister in law, Two Pretzels/K., whose husband C. obviously went to the same school of wooing as my husband.

K.'s date came first. C. comes to pick her up and much to her surprise, my future husband, Louis is in tow. She's a good sport so she still goes out to the car where Louis, the chivalrous guy he is, pops up the seat for her to get IN BACK! Now mind you, she was under the impression that this was HER date, not Louis's but alas she was mistaken. Don't worry though because C. turns out to be quite perfect and they will be married five years this October.

Fast forward a few years and I'm about to embark on my first date with Louis. OBVIOUSLY Louis thought "Hey, it seems to have worked quite well for C. so I'm going to bring along our friend Chad. Oh, and I'm also going to borrow my Dad's superfly Camaro that is a stick shift which I can't drive. Yes... yes. PERFECT!" So they show up at my house and get this, Chad pops up the seat for me to get IN BACK! The three of us go to dinner which I can't eat as I'm WAY too carsick from the HORRIBLE drive there. So I slip away to call K. (if he can bring a friend, so can I) and SHE has to drive me home as I can take no more of the Camaro. We also will be married 5 years this August :)
