I was just reading Skull and Crossbones blog about her obsession with Mr. Mike Rowe and his dirty jobs, and it got me thinking about random jobs. When I was 20 years old and living in Detroit I was DESPERATE for a job after getting fired from a real estate company because one of their top producers was sexually harassing me and I complained. I know, I'm such a trouble maker. So, I took a job doing data entry and orders for a porn warehouse. It never EVER stopped being funny typing out "6 Giant Pink Dongs." I think mine gives a little twist to the idea of "Dirty Jobs".
Anyone else have to take some random jobs?

HAHAHA, this takes the cake! And are dongs supposed to be pink? I would hope that they're fake or else I'd be worried if my dong was pink.

LOL! That is definitely a dirty job figuratively speaking. No--the worst job I ever had was when I was 18. Right before I started college, I worked for a day canvassing neighborhoods to sell magazines. AWFUL. People don't want you knocking on their door at 10 or 11 to try to sell them a magazine subscription--no matter how cheap it is.
On a side note--I hope you filed a charge with the EEOC for sex harassment and retaliation Nadja!

The most disgusting job I ever had was in college when for a semester I got up at 5:30 a.m. and cleaned the dorms! ICK. The common rooms were fine, it was those damn bathrooms. The things I had to clean up....lets just say I don't understand how both girls & boys can be THAT gross! YUCK.

I was young and by myself traveldiva. I never did anything about it, so the guy just went about his business. Funny that I was treated better at a porn warehouse than an upscale real estate firm.
