Since Aunt Jill has returned to work, my nephew Evan has been coming over to hang with Ms. Bee and us. On Monday, Gracie didn't have school so she came over also. So Louis and I were in charge of a 6 year old, 2 year old, and a 10-month old. As you can imagine, the house is total chaos, but this time Louis and I are double-teaming so it should be a snap. We decide to take the troop out for a walk to the park... and this is where the fun begins. I have Athena on the swings along with Gracie, and Evan decides that pants are for losers and pulls EVERYTHING down around his ankles. I inquire "Evan do you have to pee?" "YEAH!" So I ask Uncle Louie if he'd go help him, (he's potting training) as he's now totally pantsless trying to mark the tree. Gracie is DETERMINED to be the one to help, because she is the epitome of mother hens, and she rushes him and all but sacks him like a quarterback. He screams and tries to run from her with his pants around his ankles and tallywacker flapping in the breeze. "Louis! Help him! GRACE KNOCK IT OFF!" Uncle Louie was face down on the swings and is now slightly tangled, which is really slowing him up. He finally gets to them and has to pry Grace off of Evan who is FLIPPING out at all the tallywacker man-handling. Louis helps Evan pee on the tree, Grace is pouting, and Athena is cracking up.
What makes this extra special? This all happened in front of these ENORMOUS windows on the side of the library.

Same thing happened to me yesterday, but I was drunk, so replace tree with side of building and replace gracie with the cops.

I like to think of myself as having a broad vocabulary, which includes slang, but I didn't know (until today) a tallywacker was actually a penis until I looked it up on dictionary.com
What I wouldn't have given to time travel to the Pt. Place library on Monday.

(For some reason, I think what I would have enjoyed the most would be Louis' response to this whole debacle. I can only imagine those facial expressions.)
