what is the worst way YOU'VE broken it off with someone, or the rudest way someone's broken up with YOU?
I think the rudest way I ever did it was I just stopped answering the phone. I decided that he was an ass, I wanted to move on, didn't feel like explaining all of this to him, and figured he'd get the picture. Mature? No. Effective? Yes.

yeah, i'm SURE i've been rude to someone by just not picking up the phone and wishing they would get the point (not proud of that).
i think the weirdest thing anyone ever said was (after 3 months of happily dating) "i want to get married and have a family and i don't have the luxury of wasting 4 or 5 months to figure out if this is going to work". uh, yeah.
Whoa, TL, that is really weird. I would've replied, "Gladly" and showed him the door.
If we're talking the rudest way it would be the guy who broke up with me over the phone while I was at my college orientation. One minute I'm playing volleyball and getting to know my fellow classmates; the next I'm in tears in front of a group of strangers. Not cool.
Or it would be the guy I was seeing who hooked up with a girl in the backseat of the car I was in thirty minutes after meeting her for the first time. It wasn't such a huge deal since we weren't serious at all, but odd considering he was all into me and then oh! his tongue's down her throat while they're sitting behind me.
If we're talking the rudest reason it would be the guy who broke up with me because I wouldn't have sex with him. His friends were telling him to "get some" and I laughed in his face. He said that that wasn't why we broke up, but I knew better.

I know. I can really pick the keepers! In my defense, I was 16 through 18 at this point. I was so young. I'd like to think that since I have entered another decade of my life, I've made some smart choices!
