Today my darling daughter turns 1 year old. I can NOT believe how quickly this has gone by. I can still remember every second of her birth like it was only last week.
This little girl is the light of my life. She has awoken a new side of me. I'm kinder, more patient, and so much happier than I EVER thought I could be. I was always such a sullen girl on the inside. I questioned everything, mainly God's plan for me. I had so many doubts and was so lost, just drifting along... then came Athena. I give her credit for everything that is good about me. I was born to take care of this little girl.
So today I say Happy Birthday Ms. Bee, and thank you God for giving me this amazing gift.
