For my entire life my name has been said wrong by 99.9% of people. It's not their fault... my parents started it by allowing my name to be Americanized. Well, after 28 years I'm tired of being called "Nausea".

I feel ya on your name being misprounced. I about had enough when my name was announced over the intercom at the ATL airport 3 weeks ago as "Adri-auna Pomerowski". Yeah dumbass!! Its pronounced Adri-anne Po-morski!!! I totally feel you on this!!! ;)
Hi my name is Kylee.
Or Kylie.
Or Kyle.
Or Carly.
Or Kailey.
Or Kalene.
And even Kylene.
Nice to meat you, Nausea.
Do you have a little slogan? NAHT-yah...like not-ya ordinary girl?
Um, THANK YOU IRIS! I do now!!
Oh. So you don't pronounce the 'J'?
It's going to take some time for me to get used to this.
;-)
I call her Nad JA and she is my sister, so ................
I'm confused.........
Audrina Paczki, Kylene, have you met my friend Lori's son Rice?
I do believe that someday twit WILL punch someone for calling Rhys "Rice".
And I think I just might change my name to Kelly.
Try having the name Xazmin. Go ahead... I dare you to try and pronounce it!:)
Is the X like a Z? I'm sorry....
Lol. The Rice comment made me laugh.
I thought of you and this post this weekend. I dropped my car off to get an oil change and someone didn't get my name right. You know the name Jennifer, that about 70% of the population had in the 80's.
This is my conversation after he asked for my name:
Me: "My name is JENN" (btw, I don't think I slur or talk funny when I say my name.)
Guy: "Was that JAN (I have gotten this before)
Me: "No, JENN"
Guy: "Oh, sorry. Is that with a G"
Me: "Um, no a J."
Guy: "Can you spell that for me."
I mean come on already....my name is Jenn - not that hard, I will even let you spell it with one N, so it is only 3 letters. That is a special kind of stupid. If people can't get MY name right, then I am sorry, but I really don't think there is hope for anyone in this world to get their names said right. People just don't pay attention anymore.
LOL.
