According to this picture I'm growing a mushroom

Your baby's body now has three distinct layers from which all of his organs will develop.

It seems like EVERYONE is pregnant. It took me 5 years to get Athena. How in the world did this happen so quickly.

I'm terrified.
I have SO many things swirling through my head.
I adore my compadre that is ALWAYS there the SECOND I need to freak regardless of the actual distance between us.
I have so many doubts about myself.
I'm glad that I have absolutely NO doubts about my husbands competency. (One of us needs to be a star.)

I think I'm going to be blogging full force again, as I will need some major support.

Shall I get a creepy baby widget too??

Again, congratulations (I just typed 'congratulationship.' My subconscious is a pirate).

I would say scratch the baby widget. I always get creeped out by how they float around. I don't need the image that a baby is already a deep-sea diver.

you will be fine. i totally freaked when i found out i was pregnant w/ emma (#2)....and then i doubted that i could be mom to two kids. but it really is so much easier the 2nd time around. and you WILL be fabulous! :)

Nadja, you have no worries!!! You're a "Super-Mom" with Athena and will be with Baby #2, as well! Don't doubt yourself. You can and will do this and everything will be fabulous!! :)

I don't technically know you, but I know people who do (KB) and she is VERY confident in your skills as a parent. That's a ringing endorsement if I ever heard one.

I'm sure you're nervous because it's not how you had envisioned yourself, but something tells me that things will work out quite well for you. And since I have a baby on the way, I am attributing that knowledge to Mother's Intuition.

I would hold off on the spinning baby widget, I don't think a countdown is necessary at this point. No need to rush yourself, that creepy floating baby isn't going anywhere.

CONGRATULATIONS!

P.S. I kinda hate the mushroom photo.

Thanks for the support, comrades.

The widget shall freak out Sad Panda. Bwahaha.

I find the mushroom super duper odd. I think the picture is a lie. I would NEVER produce a mushroom in my uterus. That's just weird.

Congratulations!!

I was also super nervous when I found out I was preggo with #2. We decided to start trying and, boom, we were preggo (didn't happen that way the first time).

I remember really freaking out about how much less attention R. would get with a new little sister in town. I sobbed many times over that.

Then I got home with J. and it was so much easier than I expected.

You'll be great. You have a lot of love to give as is evident in how you take care of the Bee, and that's what kids need!!!

Sister - that mushroom photo looks like the tip of a weener. (*There. I said it.) Please remove it stat.

Next - YOU CAN DO THIS!
I truly think that the gift of a sibling to Athena is hands-down, fantastic.

You're a great mommy.
You've been down this road before - you know the twists and curves and dead ends... THIS will be why you'll be prepared and ready to go this go round. You'll thrive. And, Athena will help.

AND, you just happen to have the baby whisperer living in your home. May I introduce you to your husband?

I'm pumped.

Love, love, love you!

I cannot WAIT for Lila to have a new cousin!

P.S. You got pregnant so quickly this time because you clearly have a welcoming uterus. See!? You're hospitable on the outside AND the inside.

:)

Lol.

Congrats! So exciting! Seriously, it will be great! As much as I hated my younger brother when we were little, I adore him now. Siblings are great...Athena will be happy!

Your current widget looks like a hot dog bun.

Yay, congrats!

I think it looks like a weener too. I'm not sure what stopped me from saying it. (I typed it and deleted it and everything.) I suppose I feared no one would agree and would assume I was thinking of weeners because I just got pregnant. And why the discrepancy with the picture and the widget? One says mushroom the other says hot dog bun. WHAT'S REALLY IN THERE, I ASK???

leave it to Ky to call the picture as she (and everyone else) sees it!

HERE'S TO A HAPPY, HEALTHY pregnancy and baby on the way!

Congratulations!!!! I am SO happy for you, L. and Ms. Bee! I am a firm believer in the idea that things happen when they are suppose to, so it must be right :)

(And yay for more blogging!! You are missed)

First, a big CONGRATULATIONS to you, Lou and Athena.

Second, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Just kidding. It's you, so I have to give you a hard time. You will LOVE seeing Athena as a big sister. It's a lot of fun having two. It's more work, but if I can do it, anyone can.

(Oh, and if you find out you're having a boy, you can use this same nasty picture when you post the news.)
