someone just asked for her own room.

As someone that has been breastfeeding and cosleeping nonstop since 2007, you can imagine how often I've heard that I'm spoiling my kids, making them needy, and that they'll never sleep alone. Well, ladies and gentlemen, at the age of 4 years and 11 months Athena has asked for her own room. (Zofia can still visit for cuddles). My first baby is growing up. Pass me a tissue.

Are they both still in your room? Or do they share? I had the feeling from your house tour that Athena was already off in her own room.

No, the ladies and i all sleep in athena's bed and my husband sleeps in the master upstairs so he can actually sleep. He has awful insomnia and cosleeping is not for him.

Ahhh ok.

Peter and I haven't really slept next to each other since Alexa was born. I suck at sleeping next to more than one person (and he snores) so I understand. We've went back and forth between our room, the couch, a floor bed in Alexa's room. Sleeping is complicated sometimes.

I hope you still get all your daytime snuggles in!

I think what stroke me with this post is when you said 4 years and 11 months old. OMG.
