i'm flabbergasted by this story!
teenage girls in one high school are *making pacts* to get pregnant????
they're high-fiving in the hallways when their test is positive...
chattering about having a baby showers.....
reportedly doing it deliberately.
(at least one of the fathers is reportedly a 24-year-old homeless man.)
what are these girls thinking?
don't they realize the work involved not to mention the life of a child?

I really can not believe this.....I may have vented a bit on my blog. I just really have a problem how in todays society it seems like so many young people take having a child so half-hearted and don't think about what a gift it is and how much responsibility it is. It is a fad, a fun accessory - not a child and it really pisses me off.
Girls have been pulling this scam for ages, but to think that a teenager would do it is just a foreshadow of things to come, and an endorsement for home schooling or private school.
RIGHT??? I want to home school Ms. Bee so badly. I've come across some awesome online education that's set up just like online universities.

Just wait till they all have to actually take care of these babies they are going to have. Wonder if they will think it is cool then????
