TOTALLY goes to this cop:
An officer pulled over a guy for doing almost 100 miles an hour. Turns out the man was trying to rush his dying dog to the vet. The cop yells at him "It's just a dog! You can get another one!!"
The whole thing has led to a national debate – the cop is even getting threats over it.
So, whose side are you on??

You know where I stand on this. I would run in the street and get hit myself if it was going to save a dog's life. (did you notice i didn't say my dog). I heart is for animals and if there is a possibility that I could save one I would in a heart beat!
i'm on the side of the man rushing the dog to the vet.
I would've given the guy a warning and wouldn't have been so rude. I probably would've been speeding as well.
Ok, first the officer is a dick and very inconsiderate. Pets are part of our family that people care about deeply. Having some empathy for the guy and the situation is needed.
However, I do think that nearly 100 miles an hour is too much. I get the urgency and I would be going as fast as I could while also being safe. But I think that is dangerous, he is panicked and in a hurry and going very fast...he could very easily loose control and hurt himself or the dog more or even worse he could cause an accident and hurt someone else.
There are rules in palce and I don't think the cop is wrong in being mad at the man for going THAT fast, but like I said he didn't have to be a dick about it. Very uneccesary.
Ooh, you don't mess with dog people.
