Good for Her

Britney sweeps at otherwise tame VMAs (AP)

I was really hoping to see her perform, but I'm just happy to see her looking so well. Who else can bomb that bad, come back next year and get a standing ovation just for opening her mouth? Just Britney, bitch.

Beyond that I thought it was super boring... or maybe I've just gotten too old.

Britney looked FANTASTIC. My sister and I both clapped each time she stepped on stage. I'm so glad that she looked so healthy.

Whether it was a PR stunt or not, aimed at making this poor girl feel better about herself, I'm thrilled to be in on it and to support it.

Aside from that, the VMAs are pointless. As C. pointed, out, "they always suck."

I'm glad I wasn't the only one pushin' 30 that watched it. Thanks Kylee.

P.S. I whooped with glee when she won her award AND I liked her videos.

I secretly rooted for Britney. Good to see her getting her shiz together.

I was happy for her and she looked great!

I agree though, as for the rest of the VMA's....blech. For being the 25th year you would think that they would have brought in some big celebrities or done something pretty cool - but nothing. I didn't know who many of the people were and it was boring. MTV, stop with the reality TV and focus back on the music.

LOL. Yeah, it didn't hold my attention at all. There was a time when it was hot--but maybe I'm no longer the target demographic. LOL.

I'm happy she's bounced back--but she sure as heck didn't deserve 3 awards--over Rihanna, Mariah and those other videos that actually did well? I think MTV did it out of guilt for letting her open last year's show.
