How fat do you have to be to get kicked off a plane?

I would assume fatter than Kevin Smith.
Mallrats director Kevin Smith, 39, was kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight
from Oakland, Calif. to Burbank, Calif. over the weekend because of his
weight.
As he explained on the microblogging site, the plane's captain had
him removed from a plane after he was deemed a "safety risk."

My personal favorite quote: "I've landed in Burbank. Don't worry: wall of the plane was opened & I was airlifted out while Richard Simmons supervised."

I read this. And I'm sorry that it was embarrassing.
But I have flown SO MANY TIMES squished between two HUGE men with NO access to my arm rests that I'm over it.

I paid the EXACT same amount for my ticket... can I please have ONE arm rest? Maybe? Just one? And, can you not SWEAT on me big man?

(Yep. That was not PC and I don't care.)

(No one commented. I'm the one lone jerk, aren't I?)

Maybe just because it's Kevin Smith.

I have the issue that he was ALREADY seated. Why would you go over and tell him to get up? Did someone complain? Standards need to be put into place if we are going that direction and it looks like we are.
