Ah, to be a princess, 'twould be so grand.

I am a lover of all things British. My mother is one of the most pure-bred Brits I've ever seen. You can trace her back eons and only one wily German made it into their lineage. I love British comedy, I am a baker of trifles, and I think the royal family is incredibly interesting. The ladies and I have been watching the royalty themed Disney specials all week, and what kind of British ladies would we be if we didn't watch the wedding itself??

Athena was ADORABLE when she saw Kate.

She gasped and said "What a pretty princess!"

Zofia was a little more laid back with her excitement, however I think she really like her princess jammies.

We have our tea set out and we're going to enjoy our Disney princesses for the rest of the day :)

Happy Royal Wedding Day!

Get Well Soon, Bret

Who didn't like at least one Poison song?
I know we all have had plenty of discussions about Rock of Love.

So join me in a big GET WELL SOON for Bret Michaels. No one rallies the skanks like you Bret. No one.

Here is MY favorite song:

Ew Ew Ew Ew

"James would regularly post Internet ads looking for "hot, tattooed biker chicks with big boobs," says a source."

I had a boyfriend that did something similar. I found a personal ad that he had placed where he "would have sex with any beautiful stranger."

What the f#@K makes guys want to slum it like that? I just don't understand.

Will you be watching?

(Sam Greenwood/Getty Images)

I absolutely hate my interest, but I honestly can't help but be curious as to what he has to say.
"As we understand it, Tiger's therapy called for a week's break at this time
during which he has spent a few days with his children and then will make his
statement before returning," Finchem said in a letter Thursday. "Accordingly,
there was very little flexibility in the date for the announcement."
What do you want Tiger to say?
What do you think of this whole scandal?
Do we have any right to be so concerned about his personal biz?

How fat do you have to be to get kicked off a plane?

I would assume fatter than Kevin Smith.
Mallrats director Kevin Smith, 39, was kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight
from Oakland, Calif. to Burbank, Calif. over the weekend because of his
weight.
As he explained on the microblogging site, the plane's captain had
him removed from a plane after he was deemed a "safety risk."

My personal favorite quote: "I've landed in Burbank. Don't worry: wall of the plane was opened & I was airlifted out while Richard Simmons supervised."

Question

Report: Florida police seek search warrant from hospital on Tiger Woods' treatment

Do you think they may be pushing the issue a bit because it's Tiger Woods? They said alcohol was not a factor, and mentioned dropping it if he showed his license, proof of insurance, etc. Well, he did that and they certainly don't seem to be letting up.

OF COURSE I'm curious. OF COURSE I'm coming up with all kinds of scenarios that had him plowing into a tree at 2am with his wife wielding a golf club. But I certainly don't want to know by way of privacy invasion... but I'm not too proud to admit that I'll read the story anyway.

My favorite (and most unexpected) Twilight fan

AP Photo/Chris Pizzello

"It was a big exciting night for 'Twilight' fans last night, as the film premiere in Los Angeles brought out the celebrities. Among the stars in attendance at the 'New Moon' premiere was 50 Cent. (Love it.)

An MTV reporter said to 50 Cent, "People say that Rob and Kristen are like rockstars, because of the reactions that they get and you know because you have actually played in front of crowds as big as this. How does this compare to what you see all the time?" 50 Cent explained, "It feels like rockstar energy to me. If anybody else is denying that, they probably have a little bit of jealousy going on or something. The energy is real.'"

I would love to have accompanied him. Next time, 50. Next time.

What do I do with this information, Mackenzie Phillips?

Mackenzie Phillips: I Slept with My Own Father
Originally posted Tuesday September 22, 2009 07:40 PM EDT

"Don't hate my father," Mackenzie Phillips tells PEOPLE.

But in a tell-all book out Wednesday, the former childhood actress reveals that her dad, musician John Phillips of the '60s band the Mamas and the Papas, engaged with her in a long-term incestuous relationship. Phillips, 49, who has survived drug addiction, arrests and divorce, writes in the book High on Arrival that she was already a star playing a boy-crazy teen on the TV sitcom One Day at a Time when her father had sex with her on the night before she was to marry Jeff Sessler, a member of the Rolling Stones entourage, in 1979.
"On the eve of my wedding, my father showed up, determined to stop it," writes Phillips, who was 19 and a heavy drug user at the time. "I had tons of pills, and Dad had tons of everything too. Eventually I passed out on Dad's bed."
"My father was not a man with boundaries. He was full of love, and he was sick with drugs. I woke up that night from a blackout to find myself having sex with my own father."
"Had this happened before? I didn't know. All I can say is it was the first time I was aware of it." Phillips' life began to spiral out of control. In 1980, she was fired from One Day at a Time because of her constant drug use. That same year, she went to rehab – with her father. Her sexual relationship with him had become consensual.

For much more from Mackenzie's book – including her fling with Mick Jagger, what her family said about her rape accusations and her fears that she was pregnant with her own father's baby – pick up the new issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands now

I feel ill. The Mamas and The Papas are one of my end all be all favorite bands since the birth of music. I don't want to know this. I don't want to think about it when I listen to my favorite album. I feel like a little kid that just learned that Santa is fictitious and that dude in the suit at the mall is a charlatan.

If you need me I'll be fetal in my room weeping to Monday, Monday.

This is an honest parent.

“It’s one thing when you have an infant, but when you have this two-or three-year-old going, ‘Mommy, what’s the deal?’ it’s harder. Kingston’s whole thing is, ‘I need, I need.’ He is insane right now. We’re just hoping for the best and that he’s not going to turn out to be a freak, but we’ll see.”

Who knew Leann Rimes could be a hussy?

UPDATED 4 PM WEDNESDAY: Eddie Cibrian denied the report to Access Hollywood:
"Other than being friends and two actors who were romantically intertwined in a movie-for-television we filmed last fall, there is no truth to the reporting initiated by US Magazine," Eddie said in a statement to Access Hollywood on Wednesday. "It is a fabricated story that is using random snapshots as connective tissue to create a scandalous relationship."
Earlier in the day, a rep for the actor told Access that Us Weekly's reports of a steamy tryst, which broke Tuesday, were "absolutely NOT true."
UPDATE 11 AM WEDNESDAY:Rimes's husband Dean twittered, "I Love My Wife!!!" Wednesday morning.

Love it or Hate it? - Fergie Edition

Dark hair + no eyebrow ring = GOOD
I, for one, think this is a vast improvement. I do not care for her eyebrow ring, nor can I get past how much she looks like Brett Michaels. I've had people tell me I was crazy to think that. Well, there are now websites devoted to it. The verdict is in: THEY LOOK ALIKE!

Thumbs up from me, Ferg.

(When did I become Perez Hilton???)

Um, should he REALLY still be included???

"Vote for Chris on the Kids' Choice Awards 2009," says the message, which includes the balloting links for his two nominated categories.

Maybe AFTER he completes some major therapy.

Boo, Nickelodeon.

I've been reading about this since it was first reported, and I figured there must be more to Chris Brown's history to be capable of this:

"A source close to the investigation tells E! News exclusively that Rihanna has
alleged to police that Brown choked her while threatening to kill her and,
subsequently, she lost consciousness.
They began squabbling after leaving Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party late Saturday. Shortly after midnight, things blew up. Brown pulled his silver Lambourghini to the side of a street in L.A.'s Hancock Park neighborhood. That's when, per the source, Rihanna grabbed the car keys and tossed them out the window, sending Brown into a rage. He tried in vain to find the keys, then came back to the car, put his hands around her neck and, according to the insider, said, "I'm going to kill you!"
The 20-year-old "Disturbia" singer told police that she lost consciousness, the source says, and when she awoke, Brown had fled.
According to the source, her right eye was blackened and badly swollen and she had hand prints on her arms. The responding officers were so concerned about her, they drove Rihanna to the hospital in their squad car instead of waiting for an ambulance"

Read Rihanna to Cops: Chris Brown Threatened to Kill Me for the rest of this story.

So I went looking and found this sad, sad bit of information:

It is asked by ABC News: Can Chris Brown Bounce Back?
"Brown's alleged violent behavior may be rooted in his past. In 2007, he told Giant magazine about how he grew up terrified, watching his stepfather abuse his mother.
"He used to hit my mom," Brown told the magazine. "He made me terrified all the time, terrified like I had to pee on myself. I remember one night he made her nose bleed. I was crying and thinking, 'I'm just gonna go crazy on him one day.' ... I hate him to this day."
Brown also told Giant he studied martial arts to defend himself. After a fight with classmates in which he broke out his moves, he begged his own mother not to go to the police.
"Don't go to no cops pressing no charges," he told her, according to Giant. "Like, we don't do that in the 'hood."

I hope they both get help. This will be traumatizing for her, and he obviously has severe trauma from his past. I think that if he makes a public apology to his fans, gets help, and does some work for domestic violence prevention, he can get his career back.
