...I will take you to foggy London town because you are my gentleman.
Teh Barfs. I've had enough. There has been so much barfing in this house, I stopped caring LONG ago when the dogs got to it first. Whatever. Lick it up. See if I care seeing how I've only slept like 15 damn minutes. Zofia was a boogerbarf fountain yesterday then Athena joined her around midnight. When Athena says "NO SCHOOL!" I know shit got real. Especially since she was so excited about the food drive she participated in to help people in our community AND to earn the ability to wear jeans to school for the day.
Even with all the OCD Terror Threat Level: RED barfing happening, I still got my contribution to the school bake sales, visited Athena at school, and made it to the polls. I'm beginning to feel like this disease isn't bigger than me anymore. I never thought this would happen. I should send my psychiatrist flowers.
Today I'm moving forward and it actually has nothing to do with Obama.

I'm Over It. O.V.E.R. I.T. OVER IT.
This poor chick.
The Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease is no fun, but usually pretty mild.
Here's the initial fever/rash/barf day.
Oh teh painz
Didn't really affect her dancing TOO much.
But hold the phone. I'm dressing her today and see the skin coming off her hands and feet and a new dusting of rash on her legs and back. W.T.F. dude. Athena's skin is coming off too.
3 weeks to the day later we still have this?!?! I started emailing pictures to their doctor and I get him on the phone. After some research, it turns out that there's this fun, new strain of H, F, & M that is much more severe and the ladies fit it to a "T".
Suh-weet. Looks like it's going to be a 2 Ativan kind of day.

Back in the Saddle
We just had a nasty run with a stomach virus, but ladies are happily on the mend.
I was vomitted on by and held Zofia for 24 hours straight.
Thank you Lord for blessing me with these huge boobs that kept her hydrated the whole time.
2 vomitting kids is a 2 person job for sure. Louis' job was to man Athena. She was SO proud of herself for making it to the toilet in time and that she got to have 2 slumber parties with her dad. It's the little things that count when you're a kid I guess.
My mission now is to de-cootie the house and get this AWFUL SMELL OFF OF ME!!!!!!

"Get Well Soon" cards can be sent now...
Poor ladies. This weekend sucked and now Monday blows. Fifi started off the fun with her nose on full "Snot Faucet" setting. She had a fever all night and screamed off and on for 24 hours straight. This was made ever more fun when the next day Athena sneezed and out shot a snot rocket. Then it was Athena's turn for the fever, sore throat, horrible stomach pains, dry heaving bile, and 24 hour scream fest. Poor Athena is still retching and she is NOT enjoying Zofia's dramatic reenactments of it. (It is kind of funny though.) And to add insult to injury this morning, Athena is constipated from her lack of fluids.
She drew this. How sad and pathetic can you get :(
So please send healing thoughts and vibes our way! Wine o'clock can't get here soon enough.

Get over it already.
Yeah, we needs ta get over this crap/croup already. I'm about to lose it. For real. So I'm just going to share a "things I never said before I had kids" line:
"PLEASE get your bare butt off of the remote control!"
